No, tickets can only be purchased ahead of time online or at the door. To purchase online tickets, please use the links below. Taxes and fees will apply.
You can easily purchase tickets online at www.EauClaireHmongNewYear.com/tickets. We encourage you to buy early to save money and skip the long lines on event day. If you prefer, tickets will also be available at the entrance. The Sonnentag Center accepts both cash and card payments. To help keep the admission area running smoothly, please be mindful of the payment lines and follow staff directions.
Please note: All ticket sales are final. Tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged.

Yes. Night Party tickets must be purchased separately. You can purchase your Night Party ticket on Saturday, October 11 at the Entertainment table in the gym or online here: www.EauClaireHmongNewYear.com/nightparty. Yes. There is free public admission on Saturday from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM during the Opening Ceremony. This special hour is reserved for the community to come together, and seating will only be available during this time in the gym. Attendees entering without a paid ticket during this hour will be directed to the Opening Ceremony area and will not have access to the fieldhouse or vendor areas until the ceremony concludes at 9:00 AM.
Additionally, there will be free admission after 3:00 PM on event days. Please understand that the event concludes at 4:30 PM each day, so plan accordingly.
Yes, re-entry is allowed with a valid wristband for the day and/or stamp. Please keep your wristband secure—lost or damaged wristbands will not be replaced.
Parking is available at the Sonnentag Event Center. Additional overflow parking and directions will be provided closer to the event.
Yes, parking is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Sonnentag Center. If the main lot fills up, additional parking can be found nearby at the Menomonie Street lot, the YMCA Tennis Center, and Carson Park. For your convenience, overflow parking is also available at the UW–Eau Claire (UWEC) parking lot, and free shuttle service will run between both Carson Park and UWEC to the Sonnentag Center.
Please note that there is no parking allowed at Hobbs Ice Arena. We kindly ask all attendees to follow posted signs for both available and restricted parking areas to help keep traffic flowing smoothly for everyone attending the Hmong New Year celebration.
In partnership with the Sonnentag Center, we are asking all attendees to follow the venue’s Clear Bag Policy to the best of their ability. This helps maintain safety and allows for a smoother entry process. We understand that not everyone may be able to follow this policy perfectly. However, non-compliant bags will be subject to thorough security checks, which may result in longer wait times at the entrance.
